CONTENTS: ANNUAL MEETING OUTLINE, FACT SHEET (HISTORY, STUDENTS, FACULTY AND STAFF, BUDGET AND FINANCES 1988-89, ECONOMIC IMPACT ON AREA 1987-88, PHYSICAL PLANT, LIBRARY, DEGREE & CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS AVAILABLE 1988-89), MEETING MINUTES, SCHOLARSHIP REPORT, FINANCIAL REPORT, ENROLLMENT COUNT, HIGHLIGHTS OF 1988 -- 1988 ANNUAL MEETING MINUTES: Introduction of new personnel, retirement of Leon Rice, presentation of fact sheets, faculty achievements report, scholarship/loan report, Annual Fund Campaign report, 1988-89 budget report, new trustees. -- 1989 EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES: Finance Committee meeting recap, financial reports overview, budget amendment, general fund budget needs, scholarship increases, Fund Drive results, negative impact of the exclusion of Camden County in the college’s Vocational-Technical Division service area. -- HIGHLIGHTS: The Annual Fund eclipsed its goal of $200,000. 93% of RN graduates passed their licensing exam. Donors included the Glynn-Brunswick Memorial Hospital, the Jekyll Island Garden Club, the Kiwanis Club of Northside Brunswick, and ABC Home Health. Only three other university system schools had higher passing rates on the Regents Exam. Both Seaswells and the Mariners’ Log received national recognition.
